AOS G2460FQ. Reasonable gaming compromise
Game periphery is often perfect, but at the same time the road. No wonder: the latest technologies cost money, and the device that supports them cannot be cheap. But is a compromise possible possible? Snobs from gaming may not agree, and the rest will give many examples that prove that a reasonable balance is not only possible – it is simply necessary. Of course, without the detriment of quality.
In the line of gaming monitors of the AOS company, it is such a compromise, model – G2460FQ. The solution is very interesting, both in terms of performance and savings. Let’s get acquainted with this monitor closer – who knows, maybe it will be very useful.
The monitor case is traditionally ascetic for the production devices of AOS. There are no design solutions and innovations: a strict black frame, familiar shapes and a classic stand with a round base. The plastic from which the case is made is not textured, but has a wavy texture. The reception is simple, but noticeably revives the picture on the table. With muffled lighting in the room, the monitor pleasantly “plays” with unusual reflections on the surface. But the design, alas, is another of the main disadvantages of the monitor. The stand is not adjustable in height. For some, this circumstance may be critical.
All controls are located on the lower face of the monitor. There is a power button, the menu call buttons, navigation and choice. Nothing superfluous, but everything you need.
But in the reproduction of a picture of compromises 1Redcasino between quality and price there is no longer. An excellent 24-inch matrix provides a resolution of Full HD 1920×1080 with a brightness of 350 threads and a contrast of 80,000,000: 1. On this monitor, a shade that is not often possible to get even from expensive devices is perfectly displayed – the so -called “deep black”. Thanks to this, the colors are absolutely natural, and with the source of good quality, the display provides an excellent “living” image. Perhaps the only thing that can be called mediocre is a vertical visibility. If horizontally it is quite modern 170 degrees, then vertically – only 160. We will have to make sure the screen is tilt thoroughly.
The monitor is not in vain positioned as a game. Response time is only 1 ms, which means that the panel is safe from blur at the edges. This model can be used even in highly dynamic games – neither aberration, nor friezes, nor soap will give it out, the picture will remain clear and clear.
To begin with, we tried G2460FQ on popular «tanks». World of Tanks look excellent on the monitor screen. All details are well worked out both in statics and in motion, for raising (which happens in this game often when using mediocre screens) even a hint. The state employee from AOS and with loaded Dota2 graphics quite successfully coped quite successfully.
Another check is using high -resolution video. The monitor works out perfectly even in the darkened areas of the picture. The general plan is well worked out well – small details are not full, ripples in the eyes, which sometimes occurs when watching Full HD films (especially on general landscape plans), is not felt at all at all.
Not the best G2460FQ copes with showing a regular video in a low screen. The noise and even characteristic «squares» become noticeable here. But, the heart is on the heart, the same can be seen if you stretch the picture of the DVD-rip on the screen of any monitor.
The diagonal of our «experimental» today is not the largest, and, therefore, you can install the monitor in the home digital «corner», connecting it simultaneously to several sources of the signal. A set of interfaces to do this allows. AOS G2460FQ has ports VGA, HDMI, DVI-D and Display Port. You can connect a computer, a game console, and even a digital TV receiver, if there is such a need.
Another drawback G2460FQ is from the field of communications with other peripheral devices. There is no USB concentrator here, and therefore it will not work to hide deep under the table-it will be necessary to connect USB devices to it precisely. Alas, but the optimization of prices was not in vain. But there is a connector for connecting headphones and two built -in dynamics of 2 watts.
The cost of AOS G2460FQ – about 12 thousand rubles. Not the cheapest monitor, given the two available negative points. But in the main G2460FQ, it does not give any reason to doubt. The picture more than meets the “game” standards, and a good set of interfaces allows you to “divide” it between several devices.
In other words, if the quality is always critical for you, but the connection of additional periphery is not only relevant, take a closer look at AOS G2460FQ AOS. This model may turn out to be the most optimal solution. A good mine, even with a bad game, this monitor will provide for sure.
